Yellow bee Nursery is created to fire the imagination of children from a young age. The goal was to create fun and rewarding learning experiences that would last children the rest of their learning lives.
Hours :8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m.
The children are introduced to a more formal form of routine to lay a foundation for all learning. A wide arena of themes broadens this developmental horizon. The curriculum is aimed at all round development of a child. A range of pre-reading and pre-writing activities are introduced to help children learn one step at a time. The curriculum gives an opportunity to your child to experiment with ideas and gain new experiences. Yellow Bee Nursery gives vent to attain knowledge by using observation, sorting and comparing, creative problem solving using intelligence, reflection, documenting experiences and valuing for comprehensive development for each future genius and at the end of pre-primary year children should be ready to face the formal extensive education system.
At YELLOW BEES, our focus is on fun and learning though play. The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (EYFS )guides us, which is a play-based framework. There is a wealth of research that shows play, underpinning all development and learning for young children. Play enables children to learn and develop through communication and doing, in doing children learn to think and make sense of the world around them. Most children play spontaneously although some may need adult support. Our staff is trained to support children through their play and learning stages. Staff will study your child’s interests and learning patterns and from this staff will create a stimulating environment and provide meaningful, challenging experiences.
Children learn in different ways and our activities are planned and designed to develop all learning styles. Our aim is to “bring to life” a child’s interest through using all of their senses and making it as real to them as possible. This may sometimes incorporate a visit to a working farm or the Science Museum for example, or alternatively bringing the real life experience into our nursery.
Sometimes staff will sensitively intervene with children’s activities to support their learning and to extend children’s thinking, encouraging them to become more independent. Our main focus is to build children’s confidence and self-esteem and encourage positive attitudes towards learning.
Our daily routine together with our planning will be available for you to read, we also welcome your involvement and to share your many talents.
